Clinical Data Manager (m/w/d)
Your mission
As a Clinical Data Manager, you will play a central role in data management for clinical studies in various therapeutic areas. You will be the first point of contact for all data-related questions within the study team and ensure that data is correct and complete for analysis and compliance with study protocols. You will work in an international, English-speaking team, while at the same time working with German data and customers. We would be happy to welcome you in our modern office in Münster, but full remote working is also possible.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for the coordination of all data management activities and study-specific training.
- Interface with project management, statistics and monitoring; ensure clear communication and adherence to timelines.
- Review and create key DM documents, e.g. protocols, data management plans and CRFs.
- Performing quality checks and producing QA summaries prior to database closure.
- Assist with data review and medical coding in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
- Attend sponsor meetings and conferences to represent data management.
- Assist with database review and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Your profile
- High school garduation or comparable qualification; Bachelor's degree desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a data-centric environment and using medical terminology.
- Over 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SAS and experience with IRT systems (IWRS/IVRS).
- Experience with vendor data transfers, reconciliation and internet research tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; GCP training an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team, detail orientation and sensitivity for interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation.
