As a Controlling Master Data & Data Structuration Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to Controlling Reporting & Analysis team leader and the position is part of an action circle between Master data, Standard Reporting & BI/BW inside our Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) team. The position will be based in Blieskastel (Germany) and Obernai (France) for a permanent contract.

Your focus will be on Controlling Data to manage and optimize financial, cost, and controlling-related data. This position will involve ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and structure of controlling-related master data, supporting financial analysis and decision-making processes. The role will also work closely together with our Projects and Policy team related to the enhancement of financial data integrity and governance across the organization.
Your mission

  • Maintenance: You manage and govern the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data specific to financial and controlling processes (e.g. cost centers, profit centers, customer and product data)
  • Structuration and Compliance: You drive the Implementation of robust structures to support controlling-related processes and ensure alignment with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Collaboration: You are the facilitator across departments to define and enforce controlling data standards and engage in active networks with other master data hubs
  • Data Integrity: You ensure that master data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all business systems and platforms
  • Data Quality: You drive data quality assessments, identify issues, and develop corrective actions to maintain high-quality data

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in master data management, financial data structuring, or controlling roles
  • You have a solid IT mindset and experience with SAP FI/CO, BW4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills to work with international cross-functional teams and understand their perspectives
  • You are fluent in English, French or German language skillswould be a plus
  • You are proactive, able to identify impacts on your scope and autonomously manage multiple data projects concurrently as well as taking the lead in enforcing decision making
  • You have an eye for identifying issues in data and find effective solutions
