Goal
You will effectively manage customer development projects by delivering functional products on time, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities as a Customer Project Manager
Project Management
- Establish a clear project vision, goals, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan including timelines, milestone, and deliverables
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Engage stakeholders to align expectations and ensure support.
Customer Focus - Comply with customer requirements and market expectations
- Work closely with the customer to understand their goals, needs, and expectations.
- Ensure customer requirements are transferred into the project plan and deliverables.
- Regularly update the customer on progress, challenges, and next steps
- Encourage open communication and cooperation between the customer, project team, and other stakeholders.
Project documentation and reporting
- Create and maintain project documentation in line with internal standards, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Report project progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Maintain and manage standard project management templates
Lead the project team
- Foster collaboration, creativity, and accountability within cross-functional teams.
- Clearly define team roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment
- Motivate and support the team while addressing challenges and maintaining morale.
Your Profile
- A proven Master level of working and thinking
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, PMP certification is a plus
- At least a first experience in leading a (multidisciplinary) team
- Fluent communication skills, verbal and written in English - Dutch is a plus
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries
- Thorough understanding of product development processes (design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing)
- Practical ability to read and interpret technical product drawings
- Proficient in MS Office and company specific software
- Willingness to travel as needed
