As a Direct Sourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to Supplier Relationship Management Senior Manager in the Sourcing department based in Bliekastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.
The Direct Sourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) is a strategic role focused on ensuring supply chain stability and resilience by developing and implementing frameworks to manage supplier-specific risks, such as operational disruptions, financial stability, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. This role also establishes the guidelines, frameworks, and best practices for contract strategy and compliance, enabling sourcing teams to proactively address risks and maintain robust, compliant supplier relationships.
Your mission
- Ensure all risk management frameworks align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Define and implement contract strategy guidelines, frameworks, and best practices to ensure compliance with ethical, contractual, and legal standards
- Develop compliance monitoring protocols, including supplier audit standards, to ensure adherence throughout the supply chain. Manage compliance alert
- Lead and organize all audit related to sourcing, internal and external
- Provide training, tools, and expertise to sourcing teams, empowering them to proactively manage supplier risks and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking supplier risk metrics and compliance KPIs
- Establish governance structures for decision-making related to risk and compliance, promoting transparency and accountability
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master degree preferrable in Engineering and a minimum 5 years’ experience in Sourcing activities
- Expertise in Risk Management and Compliance knowledge
- Problem solving and analytical skills with a legal affinity
- Effective communication skills, global perspective and attention to detail
- Experience with framework and process development as well as with stakeholder and change management
- Ability to ensure accountability, drive results and optimize work processes
- Financial acumen, customer focus and networker
- Fluent English language skills and German and/or French language skills would be an asset
