Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Solutions Engineer to join our agile, cross-functional team. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining and improving the quality of our preconfigured solutions (Jedox Models), including Financial Consolidation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Testing our preconfigured solutions (Jedox Models), such as Financial Consolidation.
- Helping improve and assure great quality at all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Designing, executing, and reviewing manual and automated tests.
- Working independently in an agile, cross-functional team.
- Being a team player throughout the development life cycle.
- Following best practices of the Quality Assurance process.
Your Profile
You are a Quality Assurance specialist with a keen curiosity to understand software functionality and identify potential issues. You have an outgoing, independent, and autonomous working manner. You are flexible, a fast learner, and able to adapt to frequently changing business needs. You are a strong team player who values team-oriented work and #oneteam spirit.
- Completed education in business studies or similar relevant education, and first experience in this field, especially financial consolidation.
- Basic knowledge of database systems (RDBMS / SQL, OLAP).
- Experience with Enterprise Performance Management systems is desirable.
- Experience with software quality assurance tools (e.g. JMeter, Selenium/ WebDriver, Postman), test case engineering and test automation is desirable.
- Experience in ticket & test case management systems (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Aha! Develop) is desirable.
- Experience with quality assurance practices is desirable.
- Curiosity to understand how a piece of software works, and how to make it not work.
- Outgoing, independent and autonomous working manner.
- Very good English and communication skills.
