Senior Interface Manager (m/w/d)

We are looking for you as Senior Interface Manager (m/f/d) in Karlsruhe, full-time (40h) and permanent. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of interfaces and battery limits in our chemical and thermal plant engineering projects. You will work closely with contractors, monitor contractual risks and ensure smooth project integration. You will develop and implement interface management strategies that align with business objectives and project requirements.
Your mission
- You will develop and implement interface management strategies that align with business objectives and project requirements.
- You will coordinate collaboration between project teams and contractors to ensure interface management.
- You will create and maintain detailed specifications for each interface and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- You will monitor interfaces throughout the project lifecycle and resolve any issues as they arise.
- You define and document the battery limits for all project components and ensure clear responsibilities., identify and manage contract risks related to interfaces and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Your profile
- You have a deep understanding of the principles, tools and methods of interface management and have experience in identifying, specifying and monitoring interfaces in complex industrial projects.
- You have demonstrable experience in dealing with contract risks from a technical perspective and are characterized by strong problem solving and risk mitigation skills.
- You have excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior management.
- You have experience working with and managing contractors to ensure they meet project specifications and battery limits.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is an advantage.
- You are willing to occasionally travel to project sites and participate in meetings with stakeholders.
