Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Cloud

IONOS is looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer as a new member of the Mitigation Workgroup for the IONOS Cloud.
This is a position for those interested in building the foundation of The European Cloud Provider. Our team provides technical and conceptual support to the other cloud development teams to deliver new features and products, and to continuously improve our current systems.
We need you: A motivated and experienced software engineer with good communication skills.
You will be working with a creative and innovative group of people who love to push the boundaries of technology and bring it to life in our cloud products. We are an international team that breaks down barriers between different departments and is constantly looking for new areas to contribute our technical expertise and knowledge.

Tasks

• Move forward the cloud-native services on a modern open-source stack powered by Go / Golang.
• Proposals and conception of new services and products in a dynamic cloud environment.
• Consulting other developers and departments on technical questions.
• Establish high-quality software workflows that drive our CI/CD.
• Working together to continuously improve the quality and reliability of our services.

Qualifications

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying mature code, preferably in Go / Golang. (If you don't know Go / Golang, no problem, we'll teach you!).
• You have experience using Kubernetes not only as an orchestration platform, but also to extend it as part of your solution.
• You have good communication skills and can explain your concepts to others.
• You stay calm while troubleshooting in production environments.
• You are fluent in English.
