M&E Global Resources is a defence contractor undertaking services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors.
The Armament Technician is responsible for the servicing of all small arms to include the M242 Bushmaster chain driven autocannon for the APS2 - European Activity Set.

General job description:

• Accountable for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair test and fault diagnosis of electronic and mechanical armament components and systems, and associated explosive ordnance and other weaponry.
• Ensures work is performed in accordance with all prescribed safety standards, requirements and regulations.
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures' manuals.
• Ensures maintenance standards are in compliance with customer requirements for readiness alert status.
• Informs senior management and other appropriate personnel when issues arise which may impede progress toward meeting company or customer requirements.
• Ensures return to service on all maintenance performed in accordance with customer requirements.
• Ensures work is performed in accordance with technical requirements.
• Interfaces with customer as required regarding armament activities.
• Provides any required reports or deliverables in a timely manner.
• Maintains a safe, respectful and productive work environment.
